No hunt today

I'm buried behind a mountain of used tissues and my nose is still running. When I woke up this morning I had a cold and no idea where it came from. Christian got Damien ready for Kindergarten and I explained to him that I couldn't take him, because I had a cold. Damien was not so impressed and told me he could fix it by getting me a band-aid. ROFL - a Sponge Bob band-aid always makes him feel better. I think he was a little disappointed that it didn't work for me. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

  1. Oh Poor Sista! We are just getting over that here.

Here is the little cocktail that worked for us:

    1 Mucinex
    2 Sudafed
    2 Motrin

It really did help with the congestion and if you have never tried Mucinex you will be amazed at how well it works!

Sure hope you feel better soon sweetie!!!

  6. I hope you feel better, too! There's definitely something going around. I was sick from work 2 days, and when I got back (it's a pediatric office), everyone who came in is either sniffling, has a sore throat, an earache, or all of the above!
I think it's sweet your little guy tried to help you with a bandaid!

The bandaid story is just too cute. My 3 year old just hates band aid and whenever he needs one (not too often) he starts crying and fighting against me putting it on. So I just leave him be... :-)

  39. I'm so sorry you are sick! Man, oh man, it sure makes you grateful for when you are healthy. Thanks for taking the time to search for all of the freebies and posting them here on your site for us. I found you just 2 weeks ago and the volume of freebies I have downloaded since them boggles my mind. I am enjoying it so much. I also used one of the links on the side of your blog to learn how to do something.....now I can't remember what it was, though. Ummm...guess that means it is past my bedtime! Thanks for all you do and I wish you a speedy recovery.

  47. So sorry about your cold and about it being so sudden and so bad. :( I hope you get better soon or at least you feel much better soon, as right now you seem to be feeling quite bad. :(

Take care of yourself and drink plenty of fluids and orange juice, it does help to shorten colds and flu.

    Best wishes. :O)

A soak in a steamy bath, lots of lovely smellies and a glass of wine, just to open the blood vessels to decongest obviously!
