Wednesday’s Freebies

I did it! I assembled the 183 parts of my IKEA PS Markros lamp and it only took me around an hour to do so :-) It looks exactly like I expected, except it’s a lot larger than I thought. I underestimated the one yard diameter. Here is what it looks like:

  6. I'm so jealous... we could visit IKEA whenever we wanted when we lived in NJ, but here in Nebraska, the closest one is 7 hours away and the things that I want they don't ship :( Your lamp is gorgeous!

  37. 183 parts, wow! but such a gorgeous light fixture so its well worth the time and effort. It really suits the room too. It's like looking up at the stars in a way. How is the renovating coming along by the way?
