Wondering what I did today? You would think I went to work all day, but no. Thanks to the kindergarten teacher’s nation wide strike for higher wages, I was home watching Damien. I went to work this morning for a short meeting while Chris was still home, ‘cause he is on the late shift this week. Damien’s best friend came over for breakfast and stayed all day and another friend came over after lunch and stayed till the evening too. So I was in a house with 3 very active and loud boys. But tell you what, it was more relaxing than having Damien alone all day. I just had to intervene with a couple small fights and had to wipe away a few tears, but other than that the boys played all day. Perfect :-) The only downside is that I have to do overtime at work to make up for the hours I missed.
