First thing this morning I went to the doctor and he prescribed antibiotics for my cough, so hopefully it will be under control fast. 10 years ago when I had a cold I would stay in bed for two days, take some vitamin C & Vick vaporub and all would be well again. Nowadays after 5 days of the same treatment I still feel awful and they put me on antibiotics for 10 days. Must be an age thing ;-)
And now after being in bed all weekend I have run out of something to read and I am bored out of my mind. I just ordered 3 new books from amazon to get me through the week. I hope they will be here by Wednesday. I guess I’ll have to reread some of my favorites till then. Maybe Twilight again…?
When I checked my google reader list there were over 600 posts to read. Here is what I found by and by today. I’ll be checking the remaining 350 tomorrow and will post as soon as I can group a bit.

Glad you broke down and went to the doctor, now maybe you will get to feeling better faster. There is nothing worse them having nice weather and feeling too bad to be able to enjoy it. I know about running out of books to read, it happens way too often around here, and I really do not enjoy reading a book twice.

I hope the antibiotics are kicking in! I think the germs are fiercer these days, it isn't just age ;)
