I have been laughing all day reading your fabulous comments. Here are two of my favorites:
Anonymous left a fun quote for the dissers: "Pull up your big girl panties and DEAL with it!" ROFL. I need to get that as a fridge magnet.
And Anne left the perfect description of Eric: "As for Eric, I am not familiar with the character, but he sounds like one you would let eat crackers in your bed anytime and would not kick him out of it unless he wanted to fuck on the floor!"
Which brings me back to my favorite Eric quote. ("When you smell like that" he said, "I just want to fuck you and bite you and rub myself all over you." - Eric Northman. ) I even have it on the first page of my writing journal, kind of as an inspiration when I have writer's block. (And yes, I write smut stories full of lemons and dirty words, incase you're wondering.) Not only does it imply incredibly hot sex, it also shows his acute sense of smell. I can relate to that. In Germany we have an idiom expressing that you don't like someone: Ich kann dich nicht riechen. It literally translates into: I can't smell you. So if you find someone who's smell prompts you to do what Eric wants to do to Sookie, lucky you. I think it's hot. Lucky for me I have someone sitting about 4 yards behind me with his back to me playing an online game who’s scent makes me feel like that every time I see, no better smell him ;-)
And now before I attack my Eric aka Chris to make that quote become reality by fucking, biting and rubbing myself all over him, I'll leave you with the promised shitload of freebies. Enjoy!

Well, I admit I've read these past few days comments. And yes, I was slightly offended by the language too. That doesn't make me a prude or self righteous. I just happen not to like using or hearing foul language. It was simply the way I was brought up....not that I'm saying the way I was brought up was better or worse than anyone else. It's just my personal preference. I'm not going to apologize for that anymore than I expect Angie to apologize for saying what she did.
And yes, I was able to just ignore it and move along. But the fact that the topic has gone on for 3 days now is what i can't get over. I went back and reread the comments from those who said they were leaving. They weren't nasty, they weren't condenscending. No one was judgemental. The 6 or 7 of them basically said they didn't care for the language and said they weren't following anymore. One was even nice and thanked you and wished you luck! MY LORD...how RUDE OF HER!!
I think it's more petty for those who had to start the name calling towards those people.
And yes, I believe that this is Angie's blog and she can say whatever she wants to because it's her "House". Well, unfortunately this house is on the world wide web. There is no "lock" on this door and the comments have been enabled. It became an "open house" to the public. Don't we have the right to say, hey this isn't what we thought it was or not our style and leave? And is it such a big deal that out of 80 comments on that original post, it was only a few who said this wasn't what they like so they were leaving. Seems to me if you want to hear the positive comments, sometimes you have to take the negatives too.
So I think those who said they liked the comment about it's time to put on your big girl panties.... maybe you all should take that suggestion too. Put on your big girl panties, realize that not everyone has to have the same views and thoughts as you and let it go.
I will join the minority and will also stop following as well. Had nothing to do with the language....just because of all of the "judgemental" people who post on here.

Wow Angie! I leave town for a couple of days and look what I missed! The fact that your site is one of the first I visit when I return home and have so much to catch up on says something about how much I love "visiting" with you. I occasionally visit other freebie sites and it often amazes me that the few freebies that I like on their sites are the ones that you have posted on yours. Thank you for all that you do on your site! I've just recently discovered it. I'm a fairly new digiscrapper. Since I've found your site, I've been downloading like a madwoman. I've never had problems using 4shared- I've heard people have had problems in the past with viruses- My problem is when I try to download a KIT directly off of Internet Explorer. My download starts and then freezes up. Then it "times out". Can't figure out what's going on. I've tried deleting cookies, clearing my cache, and defragmented, restarted my computer etc..... Have you heard of anyone having this problem? Know how to fix it??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have SURELY missed out on the HUB-BUB you have been dealing with over here in YOUR kingdom, but must tell you from my MOTHER'S heart just HOW proud of I am of you for "being TRUE to thine OWN self", which is something I have been proclaiming to my children for years now!
My other favorite "mom-ism" is to take a look in the mirror - focus on what you see and I guarantee that it WILL keep you busy for the rest of your life! If you work on YOU, you will not have time to be concerned about what the other person is saying/doing or why". Live and let live ... Most of the time, it is OUR attitude that needs adjusting!
Do people NOT see the REAL Angie? The person who LOVES her man and is SO thankful for him, her parents, her child and US for goodness sake? Girl, YOUR heart is HUGE! Your dedication to ALL that you put your hands to speaks forth VOLUMES! When you do something, you give it YOUR all darlin'!
