Happy New Year

Wishing you all a happy new year.
The kit is from Gina Cabrera and it's called DDE Lucky Star Kit Essential. You can get it for free here. (Btw I didn't even use half the stuff thats in the kit!). The frame overlay (recolored) is from Anja Kletsch's Midnight Blues kit.

Ruby's challenge - part 1

Ruby set up a challenge with Maryse's new kit.
Here's what I did so far. I don't have all the parts yet, as it just started today, but I took what I had and cut out the missing pieces out of the preview page (that's me - I can never wait :-)). However, I couldn't do that for the background paper, so I added a small piece so you can get the idea - just imagine the rest. I'll update it as soon as I have the missing pieces.
The fonts are CatholicSchoolgirls BB and Action Is, shaded JL. Both are from dafont.com
I made the page about my grandma, 'cause the kit reminds me so of my grandparents house and because I just simply adore her.

Maryse's newest template

I just picked up Maryse Vincent's newest template - don't you just love it? Well, I do. Combined with her Raspberry Ice kit it's a real stunner. You can get both here.

Angry

These last couple of days Damien is angry at everything and everyone. No matter what we do, he doesn't want it. He's getting one of his last missing teeth - only 3 more to go. I took some pictures of him, nonetheless.
Now while he is taking his nap, I made this page with the ksharonk celebrate kit. The frame overlay is from Anja Kletsch's Midnight Blues kit. If you hurry you can get it here. The font is OhMyGodStars from dafont.com

Here's my LO template

This is the quilt template I made. It's my first template, but I figured that this is one layout that I will use again, so this way I can save myself a lot of time. You can download it here.

I created a LO template...

I created a layout of my own today. I wanted it to look like a quilt, 'cause I simply love quilts; and quilting for that matter. The stitching took me forever, hope you like it.
I made a page using the template with a beautiful page kit from Maryse Vincent. It's called Cherry Field and you can get it here (for free!).

I made it through the Christmas holidays...

The Christmas holidays are over and I probably gained 10 pounds - at least that's what it feels like. In Germany we have three consecutive Christmas holidays and that means three days of visiting and inviting over family and eating, eating, eating.
Well, I started sorting through the Christmas pictures and finished a LO with my own papers and embellishments. This is my first try at creating my own page kit. What do you think?

What I did today...

Holiday preparations, of course :-)
But when I finally got Damien to bed, I sat down and did another LO with the help of a template by Ruby Q Hammer. You can get it here. The kit is called MCO Simply Spring Mini from Michelle Coleman at ScrapArtist.com. You can actually get it for free from her blog - check it out. The wave stitching is by Gina Cabrera and the font is CatholicSchoolGirls BB. The doodle is also by Ruby Q Hammer, you can find it in her Gratitude Yellow Mini kit.
Have a merry Christmas

Quick LO

Thanks to Ruby Q Hammer and her fabulous template pages at http://rubysthoughtsonthat.blogspot.com/
I made this page in less than 30min. Ruby, you made my day.
The page was made with the Sparkling Ice Storm kit by Eva Kipler.

My first posted LO...

Maryse from http://passishabby.blogspot.com/ posted a LO of mine I did with her stunning Raspberry Ice kit (my LO is Cities of the Dead). Wow, I'm totally excited. Thanks Maryse.

A Banner for my Blog

Hiya,
I made a banner for my blog. Now I just have to figure out how to get it onto the page...
The fonts are DSP Curly Q Solid and CatholicSchoolGirls BB. The rest I made myself - another first.
