Saturday’s Freebies

Hi gals,
hope you’re having a nice weekend. Mine is very productive so far.
The nighttime photography class on Friday evening was partially postponed, because it was raining cats and dogs here in the capitol of the Saarland. So I only had the theoretical part and the practical will be in 4 weeks.
Today my dad came drove over and together we plastered our living room ceiling. It was a pain, but it’s finally done and over with. Next weekend Chris and I can paint the ceiling and the weekend after that we’ll paint the walls. Which means by Easter we will have a living room and can invite the family over.
This evening I picked up Chris’ mom’s car, because tomorrow is my uncle’s birthday and of course we’ll celebrate with him. So there I was with a car and 90min time till the shops close….what ‘s a girl to do? Well I got in the car and drove 20 min to our next IKEA and celebrated our future living room by buying a new TV stand. Nothing fancy, Lack – cheap and simple, but in the dark wood color of our bookcase. I actually broke out in a sweat racing through IKEA (I don’t take the shortcuts, ‘cause I’m always scared I could miss the perfect bargain or something new). I also got some really cute chair cushions for 1,50€, that fit perfectly on top of our Lack shelf. I hope that keeps me motivated to hurry and finish up the living room, so I can put up the new furniture.
Have a fun weekend
Cheers, Angie aka IkeaGoddess

Hi Angie! I can't wait to see what the Living Room looks like when you get it guys have been doing such great work.

I'm excited too to hear how the rest of your Photography class goes. I have a new camera and am always anxious to hear the tidbits others share. :-)

Thanks, as always, for the great lists. Your work is truly appreciated!

I enjoyed reading and imagining how you dashed through Ikea, not taking short cuts, in case you miss bargains! lol I remember a time when I was younger, setting up my home, and crazy about ikea too, it was a good time! Now my home is too cramped and full, and I dare not go to ikea in case I'm tempted. lol. Have a great great rest of weekend!

Hi Angie!!! I've fallen and I can't get up! LOL! I've been a bit MIA as I found the GENI sight, started my family tree and could not think of anything else for two days!!!

You have me giggling something fierce as I visualize you trekking through IKEA! I do NOT blame you one bit and Robert is SO lucky that we do not live near one or he would find me MIA quite often! So happy to hear that your house is coming along quite nicely and you'll soon be entertaining!

Hope the weather clears soon so you will be back on task with your photography.

Thank you SO much for your last several posts of GOODIES that I've been missing!

Wishing you a WONDERFUL week ahead and may it be a SCRAP-HAPPY one darlin'!

Linda :)

Love the freebies, and reading about your trip to Ikea too - LOL.

If you like Ikea, you might like the stuff from the new "H&M Home collection" too. I just bought a whole lot of goodies there...

Thanks again for sharing.
