Happy New Year

Hi gals,
a happy New Year to you and your families. This year was the first time we woke Damien up. He was a little sleepy at first, but then he was quickly excited about the fireworks. We had little toy torpedos so he could make some noise too. I explained to him what a new year is and why we are celebrating and that everyone makes a resolution. After some hard thinking on his part, he decided he wanted to learn to write his name this year. A goal he is sure to success, as he can already write most of the letters ;-)
Tabitha left a comment asking about a file sorting program. Quite a few use ACDSee which is great as far as I know. I personally don’t use any special program. I have the kits in folders sorted by designer. I rename the preview file to folder.jpg so I can see it on the windows folder. That works fine for me. Here is some info from Connie about ACDSee: and here some FAQs at OScrap:
Now for Project 365. My first photo is taken :-) Now I just have to stick with it. Here are a few links that I have found and may help you:
Gina from Weeds & Wildflowers is also working on a Project 365 kit. Leave a comment on the W&W blog and have a chance to get it for free :-))
Have fun
Cheers, Angie aka IkeaGoddess

WOWSERS girl - you've been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! WOO HOO and THANK YOU for SOOOO many goodies to check out this BEAUTIFUL first day of 2009!

LOL! We could not get either one of the boys to wake up so after their breakfast this morning, they had GREAT fun throwing the confetti they made while I snapped away. Guess what my photo is for Day 1?

Thank you again for the well-wishes. The boys returned home earlier today, I cleaned house and did laundry (shouldn't have I suppose) and am now doing some blog-hopping and seeing just HOW many are joining in on the Project 365! Creating Keepsakes even has a Facebook Group! This baby is HOT! Thank you for posting about it Angie!!!

Thank you for listing my Gold Glitz Alpha and I wish you a WONDERFUL weekend ahead and some FAB finds for your NEW baby to snap for Project 365!!!

Happy, happy new year!

I´m going to participate in project 365, too. It´s amazing how much it already gives me to think - most of all about what to take pictures of. Shall I chose the most important event of a day, or what represents the day best, and if so, from what point of view - my own, our families? It´s really hard to decide whether learning something new myself or recelebrating christmas with our grandparents or the long trainjourney is most important if everything happended on the same day. I think I´ll end up with ten pics a day *lol*

But I do already feel how much it helps me to reflect my daily life - it´s really a very cool project, and I´m so looking forward to see my finished project and getting a glimpse on all the others, too. Thanks so much for introducing me to that!!!

Oh, and the list is awesome, too, today, thanks for that one, as well.
