IkeaGoddess-ology

Kristine has this fun set of Q&As on her blog. I loved reading her answers, so I decided to join in the fun. Why don’t you join too?

***********FOODOLOGY***************

What is your salad dressing of choice?
Vinaigrette

What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
Weismüller Restaurant Quack, its sooo yummy

What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of?
Spaghetti Bolognese

What are your pizza toppings of choice?
Pepperoni and hot peppers

What do you like to put on your toast?
Nutella

***********TECHNOLOGY***************

How many televisions are in your house?
1

What color is your cellphone?
Silver, but I really would like a new red one

Do you have an iPod?
No, but a red IPod nano is on my Christmas wish-list. My current mp3 player really sucks.

***************BIOLOGY******************

Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Both – I was originally left-handed, but was taught to write with my right hand. So basically my brain is screwed, which explains a lot of the crazy going on up there ;-)

Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
My appendix

What is the last heavy item you lifted?
A crate of mineral water. Usually Chris brings that kind of stuff to the basement, but at the moment with his cast its impossible for him to do so.

Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
No, as a kid I was the one doing the knocking. But I have drunk myself unconscious in my college days. Does that count?

************BULLOLOGY**************

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
No, that would freak me out.

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Lilith or Star would be fun.

Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
Depends on the hot sauce. I have seen some stuff in Louisiana that I wouldn’t touch for $10,000, but Tabasco I would definitely down for a $1,000. What’s a bit of stomach growling if I could spend a 1,000 bucks at IKEA?

**************FAVORITOLOGY****************

Season?
Summer

Holiday?
Halloween

Day of the week?
Friday. The best freebies and sometimes friends have time to come over.

Month?
August – summer holiday month

***********CURRENTOLOGY*****************

Missing someone?
No, I have all my loved ones around me

Mood?
Happy, its Friday ;-)

What are you listening to?
Tabitha’s Secret

Current worry?
I ate too much this evening and tomorrow morning the scale will confirm it.

***************RANDOMOLOGY*****************

First place you went this morning
Same place as every morning – the bathroom. I have the bladder of a 3 year old.

What’s the last movie you saw?
Nine. Loved it, but that was to be expected. Tim Burton is a genius and worth worshipping.

***************OTHER-OLOGY*****************

How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
One pair, I prefer chucks.

Last time you had a run-in with the cops
Hmmm, that was ages ago during my college days. I think at our last flat share party the cops showed up and asked us to turn the volume down.

Last person you talked to?
Chris

Last person you hugged?
Damien

Do you always answer your phone?
No. Caller-ID was invented for people like me.

It’s four in the morning and you get a text message, who is it?
Won’t happen. Everybody who knows me, also knows that I hate texting.

If you could change your eye color what would it be?
Green, derry down green

What flavor do you add to your drink at Sonic
I actually had to google Sonic to find out what it is. Never been there and therefore don’t know what I would add.

Do you own a digital camera?
Yes, two. A Canon digital rebel XSi and a powershot SD1100IS.

Have you ever had a pet fish?
Yes, a goldfish when I was in 2nd grade.

Favorite Christmas song(s)
Rudolf, the red nose reindeer

What’s on your wish list for your birthday
A Thomas Sabo charm bracelet with an apple charm.

Can you do push ups?
Not yet, but its on my to do list

Can you do a split?
I used to be able to. When I was in my early teens I could actually jump into a split. Now my sorry excuse of a body would not take it, heck, I’d probably end up in the hospital if I tried.

Does the future make you more nervous or excited?
Excited. I love what life has to offer.

Do you have any saved texts?
No, I don’t text. Period.

Have you ever been in a car accident?
Yes, one. Luckily nobody got hurt, and I learned a very valuable lesson. Never ever drive when you are dead tired.

Do you have an accent?
I guess that depends on the listener. I spent years in the speech lab to acquire a standard American accent, so now to most Americans think I sound a bit like a Brit. However after watching a True Blood marathon, the old south breaks through and I can’t hide the Southern drawl. Happens after a couple of beers too.

What is the last movie to make you cry?
Hmmm, can’t remember. I cried when Godric died on True Blood (02x09 I Will Rise Up).

Plans tonight?
Blogging and reading.

Have you ever felt like you hit rock bottom?
No, I can’t hide the optimist in me.

Name 3 things you bought yesterday?
I went to H&M after work and bought a Stones t-shirt for Damien (now we have the same), a black wife beater for me, and a nice black bra and panty set.

Have you ever been given roses?
Yes, but I really don’t like roses.

Met someone who changed your life?
Yes, a few. Chris brought the largest change to my life. He makes me want things that I never even thought about before I knew him. When I say he turned my life around, I mean it literally.

How will you bring in the New Year?
Not sure. We haven’t planned that far ahead yet.

What song represents you?
That’s a tough one, I can’t decide between these two:
You’re My Home by Billy Joel
Gorecki by Lamb

Would you go back in time if you were given the chance?
Only for a visit. I would love to go to Woodstock.

Do you have any tattoos/piercings?
One tattoo (a tribal in the form of a bat), and I’m working on the design for my next one. Used to have two piercings (belly and tongue), but the tongue had to go. I loved it, but I couldn’t stop playing with it.

Does anyone love you?
Hell yes.

Would you be a pirate?
Sure. Fights, treasure, and the chance to meet Jack Sparrow – who could turn that down? My getting sea sick could be a problem, but as long as I don’t go under deck I’m fine.

What songs do you sing in the shower?’
It varies, at the moment I find myself singing
Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground
Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab For Cutie
Come Undone by Robbie Williams

Ever had someone sing to you?
Yes, at a bonfire. But I never had someone sing to me in a romantic or even Lloyd Dobbler way.

Do you like to cuddle?
Yes, yes, yes.

Have you held hands with anyone today?
Sadly no. Chris can’t at the moment, because he need crutches to walk. Usually we always hold hands. What can I say, I just can’t keep my hands off of my sexy guy.

Who was the last person you took a picture of?
Me, I took a picture of the blister on my finger. Told you, all sorts of crazy on this side of the screen.

Are most of the friends in your life new or old?
A bit of both.

Do you like pulpy orange juice?
That’s the only way orange juice should be.

What is something your friends make fun of you for?
Geez, where to start? My crazy knows no boundaries.

My daughter shares your love of chucks, music and vampires. She's convinced that you two were separated at birth, despite the fact that she's 20 years younger than you, and I'm only 9 years older!

Anyway, we both love your blog, and as a small thank you, she wants me to post a link to the Twilight the Musical parody a group of kids at her school made. I know it's not as good as chocolate and a night of hot sex with Eric, but it's the best we can offer! Hope you enjoy them as much as we love the freebies you post!

You've got me curious. You say that Friday has the best freebies, but you also recently said that you hardly ever scrap anymore, (and you report freebies more as a means of relaxation). So, do you download any of the freebies yourself?

I love looking at the freebies you post, and I do download occasionally, but only things that I really think I'll use. Thanks!

Awesome! Plus now I know someone else loves pepperoni & hot peppers on their pizza! (My DH insists that it's crazy and I'm the only one that likes it.)

Next time you are in the U.S., you've got to go to a Sonic. Seriously. The Cherry Limeades and Java Chillers ROCK! Our German exchange student is hoping someone will buy a franchise and put one in Munich!
