to tired to hunt

Hey Ladies,
you’re probably wondering where I am and what’s going on. Well, I’m on the late shift again till next week. Our entire company was restructured and we started with the new concept on Monday. That equals in me coming home from work around midnight and dead tired with my head spinning. Don’t get my wrong I love learning new things and I think it is all very exciting, but there is just no routine at all and that is draining. I have to admit, I’m just not up to freebie hunting at the moment.
Have I ever told you that I have the best man on the planet? Sorry ladies, he’s taken and I ain’t givin’ him back either. Every evening this week when I come home, I find ice cold Becks lemon waiting for me and little snacks. Usually he buys my favorite chips, organic and covered in Balsamic vinegar, but yesterday he went to a new level. My favorite Haribo gummy treat is Cola Schnecken, coke flavored gummy rolls filled with fizzy candy powder, and they very rarely have them at the supermarket. So yesterday when Chris was at the supermarket they were there and my man bought them all. I thought I was in heaven when I came home last night to find a big brown paper bag next to my desk with two bags of chips and filled with Cola Schnecken. My man is unfuckingbelievable.
I don’t know if I will be up to posting freebies this week, I’m taking one day at a time.
Wishing you a wonderful week
Cheers, Angie aka IkeaGoddess
PS: only 14 days till New Moon

I suspect your hubbie is distantly related to mine... the most awesome 53 yo in WV. What a treasure a good man is.
You take care of yourself and get thru the new stuff at work. Wouldn't want you sick. And enjoy the gummie things. I don't think we have anything like that in the states. Yum. They would make a great scrap page....

Haha... awesome! Lucky you! Nice to have a man like that. I got one myself. ;) Mine brings me home my favourite coffee.. even when I don't request it.. and other goodies I like. Having a great guy certainly does rock. No worries on the links. Best of luck with work in the next while.

Bring on the countdown.. exciting.. can't wait for New Moon!

Sorry work is such a grind right now. When I come home at midnight, I don't want to do much either!

With all your talk of vampires, Twilight and New Moon, I finally took the plunge and bought the first book. I have to admit though, I'm not too crazy about the writing style or how the plot develops... but it's easy reading when I go to bed. I'll probably buy the others just to see how the story finishes. I do like Edward... Bella is a dope... oops, did i say that? Don't shoot me anyone! ;)

Enjoy your candies, and thanks again for all you do :)

I know what you mean about having a great guy and keeping him. I've had mine for 35 years now and I wouldn't dream of trading him for anyone on this earth. Right now he is working 12 hour shifts from 7p.m. to 7 a.m. It really knocks his socks off and turns our life upside down. He'll be on this shift for 4 months! So I know a little (second hand) about how tired you must be. Take good care of yourself so that you can stay well and have some energy for fun with your family.

Thank you very much for all those Freebies!!! Enjoy some time off and relax with your family - we will miss you and check every day until you come back though :-)

14 more days - check Hulu.com in the meanwhile for some old episodes, interviews and stuff, that's how I kill time until the "real" thing.

Thanks again for the Freebies!!! Biene

Lots of good men in the world, and it's good to hear that you have one, too. Mine makes me supper every night. And then we do the dishes together. I feel very lucky, compared to many other women I know.

I'm not a big Twilight fan - I thought they were formulaic and sappy. The last book in particular sent me over the edge... The first movie wasn't bad, but I don't think I'll bother with the next one. To each her own :)

Put your feet up and relax! Work & family come first. Thanks for all you do.

A Canuck
