My crazy life

Hi Ladies,
I'm MIA again, seems to becoming a new habit of mine :-/
I'm working the late shift again this week. By the time I get home I'm too tired to hunt for freebies and in the mornings, after my sorry tired not so small ass gets Damien to kindergarten, I head straight back to bed till I'm off to work again. Needless to say our place looks like a dump. Chris is doing his best, but having a very lively 4-year old alone on his hands every evening limits his possibilities. It takes two to throw this household and right now I'm not up to it. Lucky for me, I have shared flats with different people for over 10 years which has seriously decreased my sense of cleanliness. Chris is a man, so his acceptance level for dirt and chaos is naturally below that of us pure double x chromosome holders. And Damien will just have to live with it for this week, I'll just think of it as preparing him for his college days ;-) May the chaos rule and still let us find the keys :-D
I'm not sure when I will be posting again.
If you go to see New Moon tomorrow, please let me know how it was. I'm not able to see it on opening night, as I'm working and I can't stand to watch it in German, so I'm just gonna have to wait till I get my hands on it in English.
As one of the topics of my last post was my love for Jonas Akerlund music videos, here is one of his first that caught my eye. Enjoy

PS. I love this song. Its so full of energy and just makes me jump up and dance.
Cheers, IkeaGoddess aka Angie

Hey don't worry about cleanliness right now. You have to do what you have to do in regards to work. I think we women stress too much on what everyone else will think when we are all in the same predicament. We need to spend time with our family, even if it's getting up when we are bone tired to take our child to school. That's what they will remember. Their Mommies being there not a clean house. On a side note, I don't know when I'll get to see New moon either. But as they say, good things come to those who wait.... Yea that's bullshit but what can us working mom's do? Thanks for all you do!!!!

A little messiness never hurt anyone. Sleep is something I long for - I have a rambunctious 4 yr old boy and a wake-me-up in the middle of the night 5 month old girl. Take that sleep when you can get it my dear! :)

Am I the only one having trouble dl'ing anything from 4shared the last few days? I'm finding so many freebies I love... but when I dl and extract, the file is broken. What gives? Is it just me?

I saw new moon last night and loved it!!! If you love the books you will love it. Although I do think if you haven't read the books you would find somethings hard to understand. I can't wait to see it again and bring on Eclipse the ending definitely leaves you wanting more.

{{{hugs}}} The last time I checked, the world is still turning. If it hasn't stopped for the mess in my house, it won't for yours either, LOL! The Lady Gaga videos were definitely different. I'm not sure I liked the violent images in the Paparazzi one, despite the sexspenders. Ha, ha! When I went to check out the Rob Pattinson interview, I found this *odd* bit:

Stay rested and well!

Will you stop apologizing for leaving us alone for a few days! I imagine it to be pretty much organizing to be a shift working mom, I´m glad I can stay at home here with my kids, so, just take your time. And never mind a dirty house. Even being around all day, for me there´s no way to keep our house in the Martha-Stewart look I´d like it to have, with the twins always spoiling everything.

On New Moon: I think exactly the same - the German dubspeakers have terrible voices. It takes all sexyness from Edward when he´s talking german, ugh. I preordered my tickets for the OVpreview in October, and on Sunday, there´s the event! Yeah! But till then, I just have to keep my eyes and ears shut so I don´t get too much information from my fellow online twilighters :-)I´m looking forward to your review, though!

OK - I just have to say that I am SAD you won't be seeing New Moon hot off the press (so to speak) since you are such a huge fan. Darn jobs!! Hope that means you will enjoy it twice as much, for having a little wait...

In the meantime, you can always dream about it! :-D

Dude... dirt/clutter is not going anywhere, don't stress. Take whatever free time you have to be with the fam and get your sleep. Of course you'll be missed - but I'll replace my IkeaGoddess time with Lady GaGa b/c you've totally gotten me hooked on her! I keep playing my 3 fav songs (prob everyone elses too) on a loop - I wake up hearing it in my head! LOL

I took my 12 year old and four of her friends, as well as my 9 year old, to see New Moon on Friday night. We liked it a lot. The theater was full of women and young girls with a few boyfriends and husbands. There was a preview for a movie with Rob Pattison and the theater erupted in cheers and screams when he came on the screen. I thought, uh oh, this is going to be like a Beatles concert -- all screaming and you can't hear but they stopped. Unfortunately, Rob needs to keep his shirt on, especially as compared with Jake's six pack. The girls and I all enjoyed it and they wanted to see it again right away.
