I appriciate your expression of your political views even though
I do not agree with most of them.

Unfortunately with our rampant illegal immigrant issues most socialistic services would be more then our over taxed system could handle. I have nothing against leagal immigration such as the steps my forebearers took and my husbands family who had to immigrate over a year and a half. His family was split up for that long with each person coming to the states as they were cleared to.

There is also this interesting fact regarding socialistic health services. Most medial discoveries and breakthroughs are made in countries who do not have socialized health care. Maybe it is the monitary incentive helping those brilliant minds make more discoveries.

I'm a conservative Christian who definitely believes the bible when it says there should be no intimate relationships other then between a husband and wife. It is definitely a clear statement.

Thanks for everything you share with us whether it is your opinion or the freebies! All is appreciated.

Thanks for all the freebie links...Angie there have been some great freebies on you list lately! I will keep quiet about my political opinions. This is not the place for those kind of discussions.

Hi! Thank you for adding my freebies to your blog!! I'm so flattered because I love your site! Just wondering if it would be possible to switch the link to my personal blog instead of the digital candy gallery? I actually have the freebies on my blog, it's just that digital candy doesn't allow me to post my blog link so I have them posted there too.. if that makes any sense... lol! Anyways, the last template and the last quick pages are both mine and my blog is jam1el33.blogspot.com! That would be great if you could change them.... if it's too much trouble that's okay too!! Thanks again!

Thank you for posting the freebie links. When I began digiscrapping this year, yours was the first freebie posting site I found. And I've been a daily visitor (and probably not said thank you enough!!) since then!

Of course, I have a political comment for you as well. Thank you for sharing your opinions. Well said. :)

While I appreciate your opinion and your right to have one, I don't really understand how you could possibly understand the nuances of why Obama is not the right choice for this country simply by being informed via CNN and the likes of AlJazeera. That being said, neither was McCain the right choice for this country. As a Californian (who voted no on 8) and an immigrant from eastern Europe, I don't pretend to understand the nuances of Germany as I don't live there and would not presume to know who the right choice for your leader is. I assume this world hatred for our country is due to the Iraq war? Or perhaps it is this general socialization of the rest of the world, which in itself is the most troubling of all. I am saddened that my country is taking such a giant leap into socialism as it is the wrong direction for us. I believe we are witnessing the end of prosperity as we've known it and the end of individual rights.

Hi Angie :-)
I still think it´s totally cool what´s going on here - as you said, having an opinion and stating it is what keeps democracy alive. Everyone who´s whining about society becoming more and more unpolitical should come to this blog. It was also very intresting to read about your background - now I realize why your English is so fluent and correct - that always sort of embarressed me. Thank you for that insight.
So, talking about politics is at least a much nicer way to keep comments flowing than being sick again :-)
Thanks fo today´s list,

Helen

As a Californian who voted Yes on 8, let me explain how I feel. I have four beautiful children, ages 12, 10, 8, and 4. I am raising them christian and am trying to teach these morals and values. This is my freedom as an American. If prop 8 didn't pass, my children would be taught in school that homosexual relationships are okay - starting as early as kindergarten. I am not a bigot and do not hate homosexuals. I try to be like Jesus and love everyone, but at the same time I want to teach my children my values - not someone else's. In California there are laws to protect homosexual partners they can register as domestic partners, having the same rights and privileges as married couples. The only difference is the name - Domestic Partnership instead of marraige. If we call it marriage, then my children have to be taught about it in school, without notice given to me so that I may take them out of school that day. Does that seem fair?

I left the previous comment ending with "Does that seem fair?" I hope my comment didn't come off sounding mad, I wasn't, just thoughtful. I realized I forgot to say Thank you for all you do. I really appreciate it.

I LOVE you Angie!!! And ALL of my digi-sisters around the WORLD - so much SO that after writing volumes here yesterday and it all vanishing before my weary eyes and computer woes, that I just had to stop back by to say that I respect and admire your HEALTHY self-esteem that allows you to be YOU and to express yourself honestly without fear of reproach because we are all, or should be, adults here with the ability to respect another person's "space" and opinions!

Thank you for ALL that you have done and CONTINUE to do for ALL of us in SCRAPLAND!!! You ROCK girlfriend ... and then SOME!

Wouldn't it be AMAZING if you had this kind of turnout on a daily basis saying THANK YOU for the VALUABLE time you spend in bringing us WONDERFUL goodies with which to preserve our memories???

MWAH!

XOXO,
Linda :)

P.S. I've still NOT been to an IKEA store - how sad is that??? One day ...
